Guitarist, lyricist, and songwriter, Rico Tha Akronym doesn't know how to stay in a lane. Born in Memphis, TN, raised in Atlanta, GA, he's been surrounded by and now emulates the music of the two sister cities, melding smooth guitar licks over intimate vocals as well as he delivers crushing bars over thumping hip hop tracks. There is no genre that can contain him as an artist. From punk rock, to neo soul, Rico Tha Akronym can and will do it all. His recent releases with producer Ryan Peel are a re-introduction to the world as a solo artist after playing in Memphis hardcore punk band 'Negro Terror' and party band 'Since 5'.
